Reflective lifelong learner
I like to play Tennis when I have free time.
A few years ago, I started watching Tennis on TV. I remember thinking, it shouldn't be so hard, as I see Tennis players on TV hit every ball with precision and power. I then signed up for a Tennis course the following month.
Then, on my first month of learning tennis, I tried my best to hit every incoming ball, but the results were terrible: the balls I hit were weak, and I could not control their directions or height, and often ran out of breath after a whole hour of training.
I learned from the lessons, that you need to use every part of your arm in order to hit a ball, a slight change in the angle of your wrists changes where the ball will land; you need to move your upper arm with a smooth motion to hit a ball with strength; you also need to learn to read the opponents' movement to predict where the ball will land and position yourself better.
Professional Tennis player and 5 times year-end Number 1 player Roger Federer practice 3-4 hours on every non-tournament day, he also had to follow a strict diet and workout plan to keep his performance at peak.
The tennis players on TV have spent countless days perfecting how to control every muscle. The success they got come from hard work, knowledge, and experience.
Now that I am pursuing a music producer career, I keep learning new techniques online every week, I spend at least 1.5 hours producing music every day. I hope I can become successful one day.
